Submission reason:

After two movies, this man was able to finally get at least a bit of his life back after years of severe conditioning by Palpatine, trauma, and self-loathing. He claws his way back to the light, and to the side of the woman he loves, only to be tossed aside from the final fight like a ragdoll by Palpatine, in the most utterly anticlimactic way possible. After that, he only appears in the movie once more, to discover the dead body of the woman he loves (talk about one last trauma), and hold her in his arms, before giving his life for hers. No mourning, and no even brief mention of the ultimate sacrifice he made. He isn't even given more than a single word in his final scenes, as if he's already a ghost in his own story before he even died. And he's a main character! In the end, it feels like his hard-won redemption arc and death were all for nothing, and meant absolutely nothing to anyone at all, which truly breaks my heart!
